The Pima County Statutory Meeting took place on January 7, 2023 at the Fox Theater in Tucson. It was celebratory with the Tucson Fire District Bagpipes, Yvette Gonzalez, (American Idol Contestant) sang the National Anthem, and Tyler Bowyer (Arizona National Committeeman) as our Parliamentarian. Leading up to the Statutory Meeting, Legislative Districts 17 and 18 rallied their Precinct Committeemen against support for the proposed By Law changes. The By Laws were tabled. The meeting was a huge success thanks to the Credentialing Team, Counting Team, Audio/Video, Facilities Selection Team, and Refreshments working together.
LD 17 Directive for Statutory Meetings. The first premise that the board was hand-picked by the Chairman was incorrect. The inaccuracies continued throughout.

Transition Letter to AZRP Chairman Ward
At the end of the Statutory Meeting, newly-elected Chairman Smith was provided the password to the LastPass account which contained all the passwords for the PCRP. The Treasurer provided all the checks and credit card to the incoming Treasurer.
